Most of our websites, ranging from small to large will feature some kind of CMS system, that will enable the client to manage content within their website themselves through an easy to use, secure back-end interface.
We have over 18 years of experience developing CMS systems for a huge range of clients and website layouts. Each project is different, but we have perfected a modular CMS system of our own that can be easily integrated into a new or existing website, allowing immediate new functionality. This allows us to integrate "modules" for custom CMS that is specific for the clients requirements.
Our in-house developers are fully trained and have significant experience in all major web-based programming languages, including PHP and ASP.NET which we use on a daily basis for our custom CMS developments.
Not only can we build functionality for a client to be able to update their own website, but we can integrate it seamlessly, behind-the-scenes with external systems. The Classic Cupcakes website contains a full eCommerce system, which allows customers to buy products online.
We integrated our standard pre-developed eCommerce solution, but also integrated a large amount of bespoke functionality for Classic Cupcakes. This included amendments to the exisiting eCommerce system to allow for special purchasing of items with gift tags and numbering on each cake purchased. A recent addition was created for messages to be added onto the cakes. We also integrated into the core of the website, an availability system.
The availability system allows for Classic Cup Cakes the ability to say how many cakes they can produce in a working day. Coupled with a static lead-time and an interactive calendar on the website, allowing customers to place orders and select a delivery date, knowing that the cakes will be manufactured and delivered on this date without a problem.

gofers logistics
We were previously tasked to design and develop an interactive website for a Cambridge based logistics company, Gofers Logistics.
The existing website features simple administration integration to allow for certain areas of the site to be edited, but the latest phase was to integrate a Virtual Warehouse System. This was similar in specification to an eCommerce website, but without any monetary values involved.
The CMS system we developed allows for secure access by many of Gofers Logistics' Clients using a Username and Password. This when entered will allow the client the ability to see their products that can be ordered through the virtual warehouse system.
The Virtual Warehouse system allows for stock management, online purchasing, order tracking through integration with a number of international couriers and more.
The introduction of the Virtual Warehouse system for Gofers Logistics has allowed them to win large logistic contracts, streamline the way their stock management works and free up time from their workers to more productive tasks.

While we can build huge websites such as the IPW site, we also design and build much smaller sites with CMS functionality.
Through a referral from another client, Midland Orthodontics we won the contract to design and develop a new site for Willows Dental. A rapidly expanding dental and beauty company in Wolverhampton.
While the majority of the website is static, we integrated our pre-developed CMS systems into key areas of the site that the client felt they would update the most frequent. This allowed the build of the site to be cost-effective, and help channel development cost to aid with Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) also.

The DYNE website is a full CMS eCommerce website, featuring a comprehensive back-end interface allowing DYNE technology the ability to manage the entire site content.
The website features an interactive, registration based eCommerce system, so that DYNE Technology can review new customer registrations before orders can be placed. The online ordering system allows full online payments using SagePay.

IPW approached us to upgrade their existing in-house Access based system and website to operate seamlessly together. Our proposal was to upgrade their Access database to use a SQL Server back-end, hosted on our web server systems. This allowed instant connectivity with their new website which we also designed and built to new high specifications. The website now means that members can securely login and manage their own information online, reducing administration overheads at IPW offices, as well as offer a much improved service to members.
We also introduced a new directory of Will Writers, introducing a new interactive searching system that allows searching by various criteria including postcode.
